I have long been turned off with the entire concept of “yoga music,” as
well as much of the actual material marketed within this seemingly
indefinable category. Bombay Dub Orchestra returns to fulfill this inner craving.

Yoga is a discipline that helps cultivate silence from mind chatter, and a more flexible body and lifestyle. But these things are not already inherent inside all of us — sometimes they take a lot of work.

Beyond good and evil is a quality that yogis have been developing for some time: compassion. It is this quality that lies at the heart of the yogic discipline.

The rift betwen who you are and what you do for money -- i.e. your job -- often drives many people to begin the yoga practice. How do we reconcile these seemingly conflicted parts of ourselves?

The other day one of my students mentioned that he saw a yoga class advertised as having “no chanting, or any of that spiritual stuff.” When does advertising your class worth contradicting the basic principles of yoga?
