"What are “Alternative Lifestyles?” Deepak explores this concept as healthy living, including your body, mind, and spirit. He goes on to explain that healthy living involves good sleep, no stress, healthy nutrition,
nutritional supplements, exercise, meditation and massage--all necessary things for a healthy life."
It is admirable that Chopra and others like him write about how to optimally live one's life - often offering personal stories, concrete activities/products/references and practical guidelines. But I would like one of these authors to take up the challenge of writing a book for those of us who, by circumstance, live lives out of balance; college students and single moms come to mind. Discipline (- the amalgam of preparation, dedication, focus and tenacity) is key but when many of the environmental forces work against us, what are the best and/or simplest activities one can do and changes one can make that will yield maximum benefit AND allow one to start forging a path to wellness and wholeness?
