The child @ war point of view

For some of us (childs war) the most important thing is our parents to be happy (if possible) and calm about us being there. we don't want our parents to be worried, simply because we care about them... even though loving words from the parents are important to each and every one of us - i know that for me - recieveing sad/compassionate messages while being far war – would just make me sad…

A Soldier's Sense
by PeaceMinister on March 3, 2006 - 4:39pm

As a vetern soldier of Desert Storm I can tell you that my aching heart of consciously objecting to the war I served to fight AND my sense of duty was healed by knowing that family and friends cared and prayed each and every day for a resolution to the insanity war brings. The power of this prayer uplifted me then and is with me always. Realizing the power of this long distance love was the blessing of my wartime experience.
