Study Links Gender Equality to Poor Health

Swedish researchers have found that men and women suffer from more illness and lower life expectancy under gender-equal conditions. They posit that men psychologically suffer from equality, while women engage in riskier behavior and experience more stress.

Oh no, I was hoping to outlive my husband! 

I know that in the past women lived longer than men. Now we have to take the good and the bad.  I wonder if womens rights had this in mind?
