Hormone May Explain Teens’ Mood Swings

According to a new study, researchers found that the hormone THP, which is produced by the body in response to stress, increases anxiety in adolescents. Although THP normally calms adults and younger children, it could be the cause of teenage moodiness.

parenting easy?

That explains a lot.  Hoping my children get more of the calming affect than the other extreme.  Though my 9 year old is already having mood swings, what's the explanation for that? Who said parenting was easy???
