Researchers from the University of Essex found that people who take walks in a rural setting reduce depression and raise self-esteem. The study has provided fodder for proponents of “ecotherapy” as a legitimate mental-health treatment.

They seem to coin a phrase for everhthing now a days.  A good walk is usually uplifting and gets your mind distracted.  It's nice to hear that it may help, but I don't now how scientific the study really is.
